How Chefiko works

Two ways to use Chefiko, two clear paths. Built mobile-first so you can book from your phone in under five minutes.

For customers

  1. 01Create your account and tell us your city, dietary needs, and which service you're after.
  2. 02Search verified chefs by service, cuisine, diet, city, availability, and group size.
  3. 03Send a booking request — a date and guest count for a Special Event, or your weekly schedule and portions for weekly meals — plus dishes and any dietary notes.
  4. 04Chef replies with a price. Accept and pay to lock it in — or counter, and pay before the deadline shown on your booking once the chef accepts.
  5. 05After the meal, leave a review.

For chefs

  1. 01Sign up and complete the chef onboarding — bio, cuisines, service area.
  2. 02Submit your verification: ID, phone, optional food-safety certificate.
  3. 03Publish your dishes and pick the services you offer: weekly meals, Special Events, or both. For each one, set the most people you'll cook for.
  4. 04Chefiko admins review and approve your profile.
  5. 05Receive booking requests, and quote the ones that fit your schedule.
  6. 06Cook at the customer's home or in your own kitchen (once your registry extract is approved) and deliver, and get paid via Chefiko.

Prices

  • Each chef sets a starting price for each service they offer. You see it on their profile and in search.
  • The prices shown on chef profiles and in search already include the service fee.
  • The chef then quotes a price for your request. You can counter, and you only pay once a price is agreed.
  • Weekly meals are charged per cooked week. A week you mark as away before its deadline costs nothing.

Weekly meals batches

You'll see your upcoming batches in the app. Before each prep deadline — 24 hours before the week starts — you can:

Keep as is
Chef proceeds with the planned menu.
Edit dishes
Pick new dishes before the deadline — no chef approval needed.
Away weeks
Going away? Mark a week as away — nothing cooked, no charge, no need to cancel.
